3 Free Transfers






As part of our ongoing relationship with WorldRemit, and their long term partnership with Arsenal Football Club, Brave Spark were engaged to create a social campaign, consisting of short video content that would deliver against key objectives and utilise the world-famous Arsenal players we had access to.

The Challenge

to create content that highlights the shared values between Arsenal F.C. and WorldRemit, , including bringing people together globally, being authentic, providing a quality service, and being brands that give back to their customers. We were tasked with creating a set of hero asset’s along with cutdowns, for use on social, that was activation focussed, delivering a consistent and connected user journey.

WorldRemit wanted to use proof points to drive consideration of their product and highlight WorldRemit is safe, reliable and affordable. The content was launched across WorldRemit and Arsenal Football Club social channels for maximum reach.

The Thought

Using WorldRemit's proof points, we chose to focus on one key driver: Value.

WorldRemit offers your first 3 Transactions for Free, to encourage new customers to consider their service. This reassures the customer that they don't have to worry about fee's when trialling the service, and promotes WorldRemits purpose to make life easier for senders and receivers, a key consideration point for a lot of users.

So, we thought of a clear and easy to understand way to draw the parallels between a ‘Free Transfer’ in the remittance world, and a ‘Free Transfer’ in football.

The Idea

A brave and daring narrative film, that would tell the story of a young and aspiring footballer who overhears his dad discussing that WorldRemit offers 3 Free Transfers for new signups. We see our hero character daydreaming about signing 3 Arsenal Players for his Sunday League Under 11 team, as his imagination run's wild. A warm and light-hearted story that carries home the message of WorldRemit's proof point in a sweet and engaging story.

In addition, we created a teaser film to drive anticipation of the transfer news among our WorldRemit and football audience, driving awareness. The hero film had the role of the direct response advert, highlighting WorldRemit’s key offer '3 Free transfers', and inviting the audience to sign-up.

Finally, we created a set of GIF's with Arsenal football players holding up large message boards featuring various WorldRemit proof points.

The Result

The campaign was a great success and achieved 21 million social impressions, 1.9 million video views and 69k direct post engagement from the WorldRemit and Arsenal F.C social channels combined.
